Dictate freely.
Keep it on your Mac.

Vibe Audio records when you ask, transcribes locally, preserves your words, and pastes the result into the app you are already using.

No cloud transcription. No subscription. Checkout and download remain closed until the release gates pass.

Audio and transcript stay local

One shortcut. One local workflow.

Made for everyday writing, not another chat window.

Start and stop from the keyboard. Vibe Audio handles the local speech model and returns text where your cursor already is.

01

Local by architecture

Speech recognition runs on your Mac using the local model you choose. A Vibe Audio server never sits between your voice and your text.

02

Your words are protected

Formatting is checked against the raw transcript. If words change, Vibe Audio falls back to the original.

03

Works where you work

Use it in normal text fields across Mac apps, with safe copy fallbacks when direct insertion is unavailable.

Five clear checks

Know when Vibe Audio is ready.

The in-app checklist shows the two Mac permissions, local model, shortcut test, and successful paste test. No account or cloud workspace is required for dictation.

Release status

The download stays closed until the Mac release is trustworthy.

The current private build is permanently signed for daily use and automatic paste is live-confirmed. Local activation, recovery, deactivation, and payment-provider simulations pass. The commercial release still needs the remaining Mac test matrix, a real payment sandbox, Developer ID notarization, legal approval, and clean-install verification.

Commercial model

One purchase. Lifetime license.

No monthly word allowance and no recurring subscription. The starting policy is two active Macs with self-service deactivation and recovery. Price, refunds, support, and major-version terms still require approval.

Price To be announced Checkout opens only after commercial and legal gates pass.

Questions

What is decided — and what is not.

Does Vibe Audio upload my voice?

No. The protected product contract keeps recording, transcription, and formatting on the Mac.

Is it a subscription?

No. The decided model is a one-time lifetime license. An activated Mac keeps normal local dictation without a mandatory periodic online check. Final price and major-version terms are not yet announced.

What happens when I replace a Mac?

The planned v1 policy supports two active Macs. Deactivate an old Mac and use the same lifetime key to recover on the replacement. A manual recovery path must be ready before sale.

Can I download it now?

Not from this preview. Public downloads remain closed until the app is Developer-ID signed, notarized, checksummed, and verified on a clean Mac.

Will Windows and Android be supported?

They are planned as separate local-first products after the Mac commercial release and support burden are stable.
